About Universal Epic Universe
Universal Epic Universe opened on 22 May 2025 as Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park, with five themed worlds reached from the central Celestial Park.
Orlando’s newest park
Universal Epic Universe opened on 22 May 2025, Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park and the newest in the city. It sits on its own site a short drive from the original Universal parks.
Five worlds
The park is laid out as five themed worlds: Celestial Park at the centre, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, home of Universal’s classic monsters. Universal counts more than 50 experiences in all.
Universal Epic Universe opened on 22 May 2025 with five themed worlds and more than 50 experiences (Comcast / Universal Orlando Resort).
Through the Chronos gate
You enter beneath the Chronos tower into Celestial Park, a landscaped garden of fountains and paths that acts as the hub for the other four worlds, each reached through its own portal.
Planning your day
Epic Universe has its own tickets and is in high demand, so book ahead on Universal’s website and check whether any rides use virtual queues.
Our advice: give Epic Universe a full day of its own. It is too big, and too new, to squeeze in.
